We are increasing our cleaning measures in response to a changing world. Our existing practices include a variety of measures to ensure you have a safe and secure stay.
Elk Refuge Inn is committed to providing safe, secure, and clean lodging experiences. We are excited to announce our new Clean + Disinfect Initiative in partnership with Premier Green Cleaning – giving guests the confidence they need for a worry-free stay!
Here at Elk Refuge Inn, guest safety and well-being is our top priority. We have implemented rigorous protocols to adhere the cleaning standards set forth by both the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local government officials in order to create a safe and secure environment that our guests can enjoy with peace of mind. This includes ensuring all rooms are sanitized, cleaned, disinfected thoroughly before check-in as part of ongoing housekeeping procedures.
All our rooms have direct access with parking directly in front of each room. No common areas are necessary for our guests to enter, hallways or elevators. All doors to each room are 6 to 12 feet away between them and the partitions in-between each room. This layout is an ideal one when lodging during this time.
Escape the bustle of downtown Jackson hole life by enjoying all that downtown Jackson has to offer - only a short distance away! We are just two miles from this vibrant area, allowing you an easy way out if crowds don't suit your style.

Increased Cleaning Measures
Our team is dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for your stay, going beyond the standard protocol with extra sanitation procedures.
General Cleaning:
- Each room will have a complete and thorough cleaning and disinfection before another check-in.
- Housekeepers ensure optimal safety and security by exchanging gloves/cleaning cloths before every clean - creating a secure, hygienic environment.
- You'll get to enjoy a perfectly clean and comfortable space every day of your stay! With daily freshening up services, we ensure that you can relax in the best possible environment. If there's anything extra you need for an even more enjoyable visit, do let us know - our friendly front desk team is here to provide special amenities just for you. We also respect privacy preferences so make sure to inform us if it's not necessary for cleaning staff attend on any given day.

- We're committed to offering a safe and secure experience, which is why our staff will be wearing masks when interacting with guests - if they'd like us to!
- Our hotel is thrilled to offer guests a safe and secure experience with contactless check-in/check-out services upon request. This hassle free process allows you the peace of mind knowing that your stay will remain comfortable, stress-free, and protected from any potential health risks.
- To ensure the safety of our guests, any surface that could be potentially touched will be rigorously disinfected between each visit to maintain a healthy and secure environment.
Staff Precautions:
- To ensure the health and safety of our staff, we are diligently following CDC guidelines to track any symptoms that may be linked to COVID-19. We will be proactively addressing every symptom in order to quickly identify potential cases.
- To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, we will not be allowing them to continue work if they have been recently exposed to a confirmed case or think that could potentially show any symptoms.
